Landscapes continue to be a staple of the artist's world. The North Florida / South Georgia coastal region that I focus on consists mostly of salt marshes, coastal scrub and palm hammocks. I love the solitude that these expanses provide. Once you slow the pace down and really begin to observe, the environment opens up with a myriad of life and sounds that elude many passers by.
